Brandy's on Main located in historic Downtown Hendersonville

Owner/Chef Lance Brandenburg began his restaurant career in Mentor, Ohio as Maître d' at Quagliata's White House and later as a server at Giovanni's Restaurant in Beachwood, OH. During that time he attended Hiram College to study art and literature. His art can be seen throughout the restaurant. At 27 Lance moved to Ft. Pierce, Florida to manage Harbour House and Top of the Dock Restaurants, owned by Stuart Delaplaine, a great friend and mentor. Lance successfully opened several restaurants in Florida. Out of Bounds was his first American-French restaurant that opened in 1981. It was an eclectic, family oriented restaurant with a great crew. During his 31 years at Out of Bounds Lance also managed Skip Wright's Steakhouse in Vero Beach and later opened and operated Out of Bounds Cafeteria at the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute in Ft. Pierce. In 1994 and 1995 Lance took on another challenge to teach Culinary Arts at Westwood High School. In 2003 he opened Brandy's on the Pointe in Vero Beach, named after his father "Brandy". It was a small upscale restaurant with an open kitchen and sha sha cuisine. In 2012 Lance returned home to be close to his family and to open Brandy's Steak House. At this time Cindy Amias, a long time friend and chef joined Lance. Cindy Amias' experience began working with Stuart Delaplaine and Lance Brandenburg at Harbor House and Top of the Dock Restaurants. She continued her culinary training with Hilton Hotels in Miami, Fl. She excelled under American and French chefs where she attained titles as garde manger chef, banquet chef and restaurant chef. Cindy left the business for several years to start a family and return to college. She earned her degree in Elementary Education and taught for 10 years. 

Lance and Cindy have partnered together to bring their talents to Hendersonville to provide a fine dining experience with a casual ambience. As chefs at Brandy's on Main we prepare every dish to order. We always try to have your food out of the kitchen in a short time, but we will never compromise your food by rushing the order. Please understand that although it may take a little longer, it is guaranteed to always be excellent.

Only the best aged beef, fresh vegetables and the freshest seafood are always used with an emphasis on using local farmers when possible. All of the soups, sauces, dressings and desserts are made in house. Our wine connoisseur and sommelier, Tyler Brandenburg has assisted in the preparation of our fine wine list. We hope that our local friends feel at home and our occasional visitors are treated to an exceptional experience.
